FLIGHTS

The closest airports to Alqueria de Rosales are Alicante, Murcia and Granada, all approximately two hours drive away. Malaga airport is approximately three hours drive. Taxi fares from these airports start at around €200. There are also options by bus and train for travel from various airports, including Madrid, to Alqueria de Rosales or nearby, and we are happy to advise on these details.

We recommend flying to Alicante airport as we shall be organising a minibus or coach pick up from Alicante on the evening of Friday 15 July at around 20:00, and for the return journey on the morning of Sunday 24 July arriving at Alicante at around 12:00. This is a very economical way to make the trip from Alicante to Alqueria de Rosales and back, but may involve some waiting time for those on the flights that arrive earliest on Friday or depart latest on Sunday.

If a number of people are flying to one of the other airports we may also be able to arrange a minibus or coach pick up to reduce per capita transport costs.

DRIVING

If you are planning to drive to Alqueria de Rosales please bear in mind the following.

Alqueria de Rosales is about 4.5 hours by car from Madrid, 2 hours approximately by car from Granada, Alicante or Murcia. It is 5 km away from the small village of Puebla de Don Fadrique.

On arriving in Puebla de Don Fadrique take the direction to Collados de la Sagra, Carretera de La Losa road. After 3 km you will find a single lane road to the right with a big stone entrance. This leads to Alqueria de Rosales. When you reach the first property on the left continue through the gate into Rosales and you will see the venue and the mosque.

VISAS

If you are travelling from outside the European Union (Schengen Area) and require an invitation letter for a visa application please let us know. Please note, in order to comply with regulations we are only able to provide these letters for fully paid attendees, payment of the deposit alone is not sufficient. In the event that your visa application is unsuccessful, we will give a full refund.
